I take them out on the playground and collect trash in one bag and recyclables in the other. There's some grumbling and goofing off, but we also get a cleaner playground.

That's our mantra at CHCA Middle School ... and in pursuit of this goal, every student here meets daily with an "advisory", a small group of 10-12 students with a faculty advisor. This website is a collection of advisory activity ideas that work, submitted by our teachers.
